"Bailey’s story begins where she was raised in Springfield, Missouri, the place that founded her deep rooted desire to adventure beyond the midwest. It was this thirst for exploration that led her to make the bold decision to move to Miami, Florida for her college education despite other similar scholarship opportunities across the country. A city known for its diversity, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit quickly won her over and became home within the blink of an eye.

 

Bails was captivated by the city’s kaleidoscope of cultures, flavors, and experiences; every street corner offered a new sensory adventure, igniting her imagination and fueling her soon-to-be born passion. After college, Bails found herself drawn to the world of upscale hospitality, intrigued by the art of creating memorable experiences for others. It was during this time that she stumbled upon the world of mixology (and of course- me), where the vibrant flavors and aromas of craft cocktails captured her heart and sparked her creativity. Inspired by the intricate alchemy of spirits, ingredients, and my eccentric cocktail crafting style, she embarked (bravely) on the journey to learn the art of mixology- honing her skills and experimenting with bold new flavors and combinations. With each cocktail she crafted, she discovered new sensory dimensions, new symphonies of tastes and aromas that transported her to distant memories. 

Delving deeper into the world of mixology, she started to wonder how she could leverage her newfound talents to catapult herself into a new chapter. It was during a moment of introspection, or during a night we had one too many mezcal margs, that the idea struck- why not capture the essence of craft cocktails in a tangible and immersive form?

 

Thus, SimplyBails was born—a visionary concept that combined her knowledge in mixology with her passion for innovation. Each candle in the SimplyBails collection is meticulously curated to reflect the unique spirit and flavor profile of its corresponding cocktail, using a blend of fragrances that mirror the exact ingredients used in each libation. I can honestly say Bails has perfected her craft, creating a line of candles that not only tantalize the senses but also evoke a sense of nostalgia and wonder.
